Hi -  I'm CK!

I am a Mom of 3 little girls all under the age of 5, a proud Air Force wife to an amazing husband who tolerates my DIY crafting, and looking forward to an impending move to a new home in June 2012. 

What does this mean?  I have a blank canvas to incorporate my love of the color green and to decorate using all the of projects I have compiled for as long as I can remember!  Follow me on my journey through creating all these projects, and decorating our future new home using hints of green, using my own two hands and occassional help from the Hubby AND other easy and fun DIY projects.  Stay tuned for tutorials, pictures, ALOT of elbow grease, and hopefully some inspiration and entertainment!

My obsession with green is a small one, hence the name "Little" Green Obsession.  You won't see me painting a whole room green (maybe an accent wall), or buying green furniture, but I will add little splashes of it here and there. 

I really started this Blog after people constantly asking me how I did something and where I got it.  I am always being asked for help in planning parties (Mama LOVES to enterain), home decor, and DIY crafting.  What better place than a Blog, where I can offer my own dissertation of what sort of mess I am making in my home on any given day.    Not only that, we are all on a budget nowadays.  Being a SAHM (stay at home mom) makes me always think about how I can stretch a dollar.  I am here to show you how to do that, making subtle changes with inexpensive tools and materials, or perhaps what you have laying around the house collecting dust.

Sidenote for all those curious lady followers and how I get my husband to agree to all of this stuff... My husband doesn't really say much about all these projects because I promised him a man-cave at our new house.  It went from a 4 to 5 bedroom search.
